Before joining PlayCanada, Robyn spent the better part of two decades as a writer and editor telling a variety of stories. Career-wise, Robyn is a bit of a ‘Girl Friday’ with experience spanning industries, including kitchens, music, film, tech, and journalism⁠ — now with a gambling bend. Robyn holds degrees in sociology and anthropology, gender and journalism. She also studied business and public relations. The proud mom lives in a newly empty nest in Nova Scotia with her rescue kitty, Edith Edna.

Managing Editor: Dave Briggs

Before joining PlayCanada, Dave Briggs spent more than 25 years as a writer and editor, mainly covering horse racing in Canada. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from Western University and was a 2018 inductee into the Communicators’ Corner of the US Harness Racing Hall of Fame. Beyond a deep passion for family and music, Dave has a mostly tragic, lifelong love of Detroit sports teams. He lives in Port Stanley, Ontario, with his wife and their beloved Vizsla named California.

Dustin Gouker is the Vice President of Catena North America and head of content for PlayUSA and regional Play-branded sites, including PlayCanada.com. Gouker has reported on and analyzed online sports betting, online casino, online poker and daily fantasy sports industries since 2015. He was a sports journalist for more than 15 years, working as a reporter, editor and designer, including stops at The Washington Post and the Washington Examiner.
